Time cannot be bought, found, or given back; What would you do with more time?

Willow Rain is in honor of my mother. She suffered from heart disease and lost her battle in April of 2020 during the worst of COVID pandemic. Her final days were spent at the hospital she worked at for 25 years as a registered nurse. She became an angel with the nurses by her side. 

As a nurse practitioner working during the pandemic, I found myself with profound grief from the loss of my mom and also many of my patients. Through my stages of grief, I found beautiful moments of hope and healing. I began my transition to dedicate my life's achievements towards improving access to health care without restrictions and barriers. 

My mom’s quality of life during her final years was spent going to appointments rather than enjoying her life. She was confined to a wheel chair and on high dose oxygen. If she had access to online care and early cardiac screening,  she would have had more time for the things she loved most. She loved life, she loved to travel, and she loved her family. As the daughter of a Veteran and grandmother to an Army soldier, she proudly supported our troops.

I founded ICARENP Health and Wellness to improve the quality of health care, improve access to care, and improve gaps in health care. The organization will evolve in phases. Starting with access to quality health care with through our virtual health care clinic. 

It is my sincerest hope that Willow Rain will be able to shine her love and passion through the work of her Angels in health care!
